It looks as though there is an 18 and below the number a 1. In a Kieffer a 1, 2 or 3 usually indicates seat size, as mentioned above. Check to see if the seller can provide you with all of the numbers on the flap. I just sold my Kieffer Aachen. If you get this saddle, you will absolutely love it.
( I did anyhow) Yes their trees are adjustable, but by an authorized Kieffer saddle fitter or repair shop. It is truly a wonderful thing. Best of luck. We have a beautiful Kieffer 18' here in the shop.
$625.00 looks to be more medium to wide but not sure. I did call a saddle repair shop they told me in order to have it adjusted for size you need to be authorized dealer for Kieffer or they won't allow you the special table they use to adjust it. So be careful if you have to send it to Kieffer you have to pay shipping out and back then when it gets to you if the fit is still a problem you would have to pay to reship again. THey are really nice saddles this one is gorgeous.

It's my understanding (could be wrong) that you can move 2-3 sizes up or down. I don't know if its a time or a model difference. I just bought a new Prestige, and ordered a different tree size than what my saddler had in hand so that I would have the maximum variability available as my horse changes.
So if this is a 35 and started as a 32, you can never make it wider. If your horse is at peak, you may want one that started out as a 35 so you can go narrower/wider as needed. Did that make any sense?
